The Music in my Head

Eminem’s latest single to hit the internet airwaves is Won’t Back Down featuring Pink. A very unlikely pair, I know, but it works really well.  She fits his angry persona very well with her own inner rage always on display.  It’s got a solid beat backing it and as usual Eminem’s flow is on point.

Look out for Eminem’s Recovery hitting stores on June 22nd.

So it’s been forever since I have posted music up on this blog.  Therefore I chose a song that I haven’t stopped listening to since I first heard it on Hypemachine.  Deadmau5’s remix of Pendulum’s newest single, Watercolours.  

This song is just really chill.  Daylight (Troublemaker remix feat De La Soul)- Matt & Kim.

On this dreary rainy day, we all need a little cheering up.  So I posted something that I know will make everyone’s day just a bit brighter, Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles.  It’s a classic song that nobody can hate.  Come on Boston, let’s pray for good weather all the rest of the week.

Silly song with an even sillier title, Das Racist- Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell (Wallpaper Remix), is just a fun song that one could throw on at a party and nobody would be angry.  It’s not a very complicated song, but it has a driving funky beat and I mean who doesn’t love the TBell. Stoners rejoice!

Today was unreasonably nice out and that was a total plus for today, but other than that I have done a shit ton of work and not really had any chance to enjoy said gorgeous weather.  There’s so much I want and most of it is attainable, but one thing isn’t and it’s driving me nuts.

It sounds emo as hell but I just want someone to depend on and who I can share everything with.   I want someone that I can lay with at night  and help me feel better when everything seems to be going amiss. I wouldn’t be needy and clingy.

What can I say about Lil’ Wayne aka Weezy F. Baby?  He’s the hottest MC in the game who has literally worked with everyone.  He’s remixed Jay-Z’s songs, basically brought Drake on the map, and more recently brought out a track with Eminem.  But this is my favorite song he has ever done, simply because it’s about the most clutch NBA player today, Kobe Bryant.

Deadmau5 has seen a meteoric rise in popularity over the past year.  The man makes some of the dopest beats around.  His latest smash has to be Ghosts N Stuff featuring Rob Swire of Pendulum.  The song is fucking perfect.
